5-Ingredient Pineapple Cherry Supreme

We have all been there!  Somewhere to go, but nothing to take.  This 5-Ingredient Cherry Pineapple Supreme is one of my go-to desserts when I am running low on prep time!  I know this may seem unbelievable, but you literally dump each of the five ingredients into a pan, bake, and enjoy!  

I recall a time that I took my 5-Ingreident Cherry Pineapple Supreme to a school potluck.  I kind of giggled a little as I watched people eat it.  I could tell they were trying to figure out just what was in it.  Overhearing some of the conversations, I giggled even more.  The guesses were much more complicated that it actually is!  When I shared my recipe with a few other moms, they were blown away!  How can something have such a sophisticated taste but be so simple?  

Instead of keeping this yummy secret to myself, I just have to share!  Check out my amazing recipe below!

Ingredients for 5-Ingredient Cherry Pineapple Supreme:

  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained (20 oz.)
  • 1 can cherry pie filling (21 oz.) 
  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix (15.25 oz.) 
  • 5 T. butter, melted 
  • 1/2 c. chopped almonds 

Directions for 5-Ingredient Cherry Pineapple Supreme:

  • Spread crushed pineapple in a 8″ x 8″ greased baking dish.
  • Next, spread the cherry pie filling.
  • Sprinkle dry cake mix over top of the cherry pie filling.
  • Evenly pour the melted butter on top of cake mix.
  • Finally, sprinkle chopped almonds on top.
  • Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes or until lightly brown.
