Easy Chicken Salad Wrap

This chicken salad wrap make a healthy, delicious lunch, dinner, or afternoon snack. It’s loaded with lean protein, veggies, and a tasty sauce.

Shredded chicken, carrots, celery, green onions, and a creamy sauce that has just the right amount of heat are all wrapped up in a soft flour tortilla. Could it get any better? No. No, it couldn’t.

Chicken Salad Wrap

I love wraps. They’re one of my favorite things to make for lunch or dinner. They’re a fun way to have a full meal in one tidy package. I often make these for quick dinners or for lunch on the weekend.

Ingredients

It only takes a few simple ingredients to make these easy, tasty wraps.

  • shredded chicken
  • mayonnaise
  • cilantro leaves
  • carrots
  • green onions
  • celery
  • sour cream
  • hot sauce
  • shredded cheese
  • tortillas
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

A few simple steps are all it takes to make these wraps. They’re done in a flash.

Step 1: In a large bowl combine mayonnaise, cilantro, carrots, green onions, celery, sour cream, and hot sauce.

Step 2: Add chicken and stir to coat. 

Step 3: Season with salt and pepper to taste.  (This mixture can be refrigerated in a sealed container or covered with plastic wrap until ready to use.)

Step 4: When you are ready to make your snack wraps, set your tortillas on your work surface..  

Step 5: Spoon chicken salad in the center of your tortillas.  

Step 6: Sprinkle cheese on top.

Step 7: To fold your snack wrap, fold the sides in and roll to secure. Place seam-side down until you are finished rolling them all up. 

Step 8: Place a large skillet over medium heat. 

Step 9: Spray the bottom of each snack wrap with cooking spray and place them on your heated skillet.

Step 10: Cook for about 4 minutes or until bottoms are golden brown.

Step 11: Spray the tops of snack wraps and flip to cook the other side. Continue cooking until that side is golden brown.

Step 12: Remove from heat and serve.

Substitutions

Greek Yogurt: If you don’t have sour cream, you can use full-fat Greek yogurt.

Beef or Pork: You can use shredded beef or pork in place of chicken.
