Peanut Butter and Jelly Roll Up Recipe
Peanut butter and jelly! I hear this answer so often when I ask my kiddos what they want for a snack. As a busy mom, it doesn't get any better than that. In just seconds, I can grab the bread, peanut butter, and jelly, and make a yummy treat they will all enjoy. However, I am always looking for ways to step up my game.
I do not want my children to just be satisfied, I want their minds to be blown! Using the same great flavors as an all-time classic, I created this Peanut Butter and Jelly Roll Up Recipe! A light and crispy crescent stuffed with the perfect amount of peanut butter and jelly is enough to make anyone smile.

Ingredients for Peanut Butter and Jelly Roll Up Recipe:
• 1 tube crescent rolls (8 oz)
• 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
• 1 oz cream cheese
• 1/4 cup plus 1 tbsp sugar
• 1/2 cup strawberry jam
• 2 cups vegetable oil
Directions for Peanut Butter and Jelly Roll Up Recipe:
1. Put peanut butter, cream cheese, and 1 tbsp sugar in a microwavable bowl.
2. Microwave for 30 second intervals, stirring after each, until sugar is dissolved and mixture is smooth.
3. Roll crescents out on a non-stick surface.
4. Join all 8 crescents together by pinching the seams, creating a large rectangle.
5. Using a pizza cutter, cut the dough into 8 equal squares.
6. Place 1/8 of peanut butter mixture in the middle of each crescent square.
7. Top peanut butter with 1 tbsp of strawberry jam.
8. Roll each crescent over the filling, gently pinching the end to seal it to the opposite side.
9. Carefully place rolls, two at a time, into hot oil. (About 375 degrees)
10. Fry on each side until golden brown. This will take about 2 minutes total.
11. Remove rolls from pan and place on a baking sheet lined with paper towel.
12. Allow to cool 5 minutes, then roll in remaining sugar.
