- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1¼ cups brown sugar
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ tsp water
- 2¾ cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1½ cups oatmeal (quick oats)
- 1½ cups raisins
Directions for Chewy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cream butter and sugars together.
- Add eggs, vanilla, and water.
- Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Stir in oatmeal and raisins
- Drop 1" balls of dough onto greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 12 minutes.
