What to Serve with Sheet Pan Pancakes

Just like traditional pancakes, you can serve these with syrup or your favorite pancakes toppings along with a glass of milk or a cup of coffee or tea. Again, as with regular pancakes, you can also pair them with your favorite savory breakfast options for a breakFEAST.

  • Unlike regular pancakes, you want to whisk this batter until smooth.
  • Because the batter is whisked until smooth, it's important to let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes to allow the gluten to relax. This makes the fluffiest sheet pan pancakes possible.
  • If adding berries to your sheet pan pancakes, wash and dry them just before using them. Don't wash them days ahead of time or they're mold quickly.

What is a sheet pan pancake?

A sheet pan pancake is a pancake variation in which the batter is poured into a shallow baking dish and then baked rather than cooked on a griddle.

Do sheet pan pancakes have the same texture as regular pancakes?

Yes, they do! Sheet pan pancakes use traditional pancake batter. Although they're baked instead of cooked on a griddle, they still come out soft and fluffy if they're made correctly.

How do you get light, fluffy pancakes?

For the fluffiest pancakes, don't overmix the batter. Then, let the batter rest for 5 to 10 minutes so any gluten formed from mixing the batter ingredients can relax before cooking.
