I have always been a big fan of going out to eat.  And I am not fussy about where we go.  I have yet to find a restaurant that I can't find something on the menu that makes my mouth water.  I always get excited to try something new, but I definitely have a few favorites that I don't mind visiting over and over again.

Texas Roadhouse is certainly on that list.  First of all, the atmosphere is so fun.  The music, dancing, and endless peanuts are right up my alley.  But let's be honest.  The food is always AMAZING, and no matter what I order, I know I can always enjoy their warm, irresistible dinner rolls.  And please, please do not forget a generous amount of the cinnamon honey butter!

Now, as much as I do like to eat out, I love trying to create that restaurant taste right in my own kitchen.  And when it comes to these Copycat Texas Roadhouse Rolls with Cinnamon Honey Butter, I nailed it!  They are much easier than you can imagine, and all you have to do is follow my simple recipe below!

In a stand mixer, combine warm water and yeast. Whisk together and allow to sit until yeast dissolves.Preparing the yeast in a large metal bowl.
In a separate microwave-safe bowl, combine milk and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals until butter is melted and milk is warm.

Add sugar, egg, and salt to milk mixture. Stir until uniform.
Pour milk mixture into water/yeast combination.

Using the kneading hook, stir for 1 minute, scraping the sides and bottom as needed.
Add 3 cups of flour and knead until all flour is combined.

Add remaining flour and knead for three minutes. (If dough is still a bit sticky, add additional flour 1 tbsp at a time.)
Form dough into a large ball and place it into an oiled bowl. Roll the dough to coat all sides in oil.
Cover bowl with a heavier kitchen towel and allow it to rise for about 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.

Punch the dough down and knead it for 1 minute.

Split the dough into 12 equal parts. (I start by splitting it is half twice and work from there.) Form each part into a roll shape and place them in a greased 9x13 baking dish.

Cover with the towel again and allow to rise for 30 minutes.
Bake at 350ºF for 15-18 minutes or until tops are golden brown.
