This easy homestyle coleslaw is rich, creamy, and just like your grandma used to make. It has an easy twist, though - it uses bagged coleslaw mix!
I love making coleslaw, but I don't want to take the time to shred everything individually to prepare it. To make things easier, I love to use bagged coleslaw mix and skip the bulk of the prep work.
Homestyle Coleslaw
Coleslaw has always been one of my favorite sides. It's so cool and creamy, and it's the perfect complement to almost any dish. Making it with bagged mix allows me to get all that great flavor without hours of prep.
Ingredients
It only takes a few simple ingredients to make this easy recipe.
- pre-mixed coleslaw
- Miracle Whip
- milk
- sugar
- salt
- pepper
- sunflower seeds
- almonds
- red grapes
Instructions
In just a few easy steps, you'll have delicious coleslaw that you'd never know was semi-homemade.
Step 1: In a small mixing bowl, whisk together Miracle Whip, milk, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Step 2: Place coleslaw mix in a large mixing bowl.
Step 3: Pour Miracle Whip mix over top and mix together.
Step 4: Add sunflower seeds, almonds, and grapes. Mix together.
Step 5: Chill and serve.
