Air Fryer Sugar Cookies
Air fryer sugar cookies are perfectly golden on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, and oh, so delicious. Using the air fryer, you get perfect results every time!
I'm a big fan of cookies. I love to make them for afternoon snacks, desserts, and just to have on hand. One of my favorite ways to make them, especially this recipe, is in the air fryer. I've never made more perfect cookies.
Air Fryer Sugar Cookies
I made these a few years ago for the first time when I got my air fryer. I had never made air fryer cookies before, so I wanted to give it a shot with a simple recipe. I'm so glad I did! This has become one of my favorite cookie recipes to make.
Ingredients
It only takes a few basic ingredients to make these delicious cookies.
- sugar
- butter
- egg yolks
- vanilla
- flour
- baking soda
- cream of tartar
Instructions
Just like any other sugar cookie recipe, this one only takes a few simple steps to make.
Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, cream sugar and butter together.
Step 2: Add egg yolks and vanilla. Beat again.
Step 3: Add flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar. Beat again.
Step 4: Form dough into tablespoon size balls and flatten them gently.
Step 5: Place them in an air fryer basket lined with parchment paper 2 inches apart. You will have to bake these in batches.
Step 6: Air fry at 350ºF for 7 minutes or until golden brown and slightly cracked on top.

Substitutions
Self-Rising Flour: If you don't have crema of tartar or baking soda on hand, omit the baking soda and cream of tartar and use self-rising flour, instead.
