What is tortellini?

Tortellini is stuffed pasta. Traditionally, it's filled with a mix of meat, cheese, egg, and nutmeg, but you can find all kinds of variations these days.

What is al dente?

Al dente is the ideal consistency for pasta. It literally translates to "to the tooth", and it means that the pasta should be soft but still somewhat firm.

Why is pasta salad better the next day?

Pasta salad tends to taste better the next day because the pasta has time to absorb the dressing and flavors.
