Broiled BBQ chicken wings take one of our favorite appetizers and makes them healthier. By skipping the air fryer, we can enjoy delicious, crispy BBQ chicken wings with less fat and zero guilt.

Broiled BBQ Chicken Wings

I absolutely love chicken wings, but for a long time, I stayed away from them. Traditional wings are so unhealthy, and I never found a recipe alternative that I liked. Now that I've been making these BBQ wings with the broiler, I'm hooked.

It only takes a few simple ingredients to make this tasty recipe.

  • chicken wings 
  • ketchup
  • buffalo sauce
  • brown sugar
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

In just a few simple steps, you'll have delicious BBQ chicken wings that everyone will love.

Step 1: Preheat the oven on BROIL at 550ºF.

Step 2: In a medium mixing bowl, combine ketchup, buffalo sauce, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.

Step 3: Add chicken wings and mix until wings are evenly coated.

Step 4: Place chicken wings on a greased broiling rack about 10 inches away from the heating element.

Step 5: Broil for 10 minutes. Flip wings and brush with the additional sauce.

Step 6: Broil for another 10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160ºF.
