Tips for the Best Condensed Milk Brownies Recipe

  • Thoroughly mix your ingredients, but don't overdo it. Overmixing can make your brownies dense.
  • Brownies are done when a toothpick comes out clean or with just a few moist crumbs. Be careful not to overbake them.
  • Lining your pan with parchment paper makes it easy to remove the brownies before slicing them.
  • Be sure your brownies have fully cooled before slicing them. Otherwise, they'll fall apart.

FAQ

How do make fudgy, moist brownies?

Cakey brownies have more dry ingredients, while fudgy brownies have more fat and a higher moisture content. For fudgy brownies, add a higher amount of ingredients like eggs, butter, chocolate, or oil.

Can you store brownies in the refrigerator?

You can refrigerate brownies, but you shouldn't. While it may seem like refrigerating brownies is the perfect way to extend their shelf life, all it does is make them dry and crumbly. No one will eat them.

How do you keep brownies from drying out?

Store your brownies in an air-tight container at room temperature with a slice of white bread. The moisture from the white bread will keep the brownies moist.
