Tips for the Best Reese's Brownies
- Mix your batter until smooth, but stop there. Overmixing can create tough brownies.
- Lining your baking pan with parchment paper is the easiest way to ensure they don't stick and makes removal simple.
- Be sure to let your brownies cool completely before slicing them, or they'll fall apart.
- Use a very sharp knife to easily slice the brownies without squishing them.
FAQ
Brownies made with more fat are fudgier. Add ingredients like extra butter, chocolate, oil, or eggs to create fudgy brownies.
If you try to cut brownies before they're fully cooled, they'll break apart. Brownies need to cool completely to ensure they fully set.
Fudgy brownies can be tricky. Even when they're perfectly baked, they can appear almost raw in the middle. The toothpick test is the easiest way to tell if they're done. Insert a toothpick into the brownies. If it comes out clean or with just a few moist crumbs, the brownies are done.
