Easter Resurrection Rolls are a delicious way to share the Easter story with your family...flaky crescent rolls filled with sweet marshmallow goodness! #inspirationalmomma #resurrectionrolls #easter #rollrecipe #recipe #bakingThere are two reasons why everyone needs to make Easter Resurrection Rolls.  The first is a given.  They are simply delicious.  The second is also fairly obvious.  They portray the original Easter story perfectly.  The marshmallow represents Jesus being put into the tomb.  And just as He was not there on the third day, the marshmallow also "disappears" while baking.

My youngest, Emzlee, is always excited to help me in the kitchen, and we were able to have a pretty good conversation as we made these Easter Resurrection Rolls.  She was filled with questions and I hope it is a chat that she remembers for years to come.  We even had a few good laughs.  As we were wrapping the marshmallow inside the crescent roll, I explained to her that it represented Jesus, and just as the large boulder sealed the door of the tomb, we needed to be sure to seal all the edges of the crescent dough.

With anticipation, she waited for the timer to beep.  Finally, they were done.  As I pulled the pan out of the oven, I noticed one of the marshmallows had leaked out a bit.  Emzlee shouted, "Oh no!  Jesus leaked all over the pan!"  She never ceases to put a smile on my face!

I hope you can make memories just like we did when you make your Easter Resurrection Rolls.  Check out the recipe below!
