Anyone that has checked out a few of my recipes knows that I am all about simple and quick without sacrificing amazing flavor! I also love experimenting with ingredients that I commonly have in the fridge or on my pantry shelves. On the day that I created this One-Pan Easy Creamy Beef Stroganoff, my goal was to use the thawed hamburger I had in the fridge. Spaghetti was a possibility, but we had that a few nights ago. Tacos were another option, but that is also a meal that we have often.
I really wanted to try something new, so that is just what I did! After assessing the refrigerator and pantry…I chose the perfect, simple ingredients to make my yummy One-Pan Easy Creamy Beef Stroganoff! As it was coming together, I was confident that I would love it. However, I still had the question in my mind…will the kids like it? As I put it on their plates, they were a bit hesitant, just like they are with anything new. But it didn’t take long to see that they loved it too! Before I knew it, they were asking for more!

Ingredients for One-Pan Easy Creamy Beef Stroganoff:
1 lb ground beef
1 can (4 oz) mushrooms
1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
4 ½ cups water
1 lb. egg noodles, uncooked
1 ½ cups sour cream
Directions for One-Pan Easy Creamy Beef Stroganoff:
Step 1: In a large skillet, brown hamburger.
Step 2: Add mushrooms. Salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3: Add evaporated milk, water and noodles. Bring to a boil.
Step 4: Reduce heat and simmer for about 8 minutes or until noodles are tender.
Step 5: Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
